Do you have an original character in mind and wanted to bring it to life but never know how to start? Then fret not, Eden is here for the rescue!

In this panel Eden will hold a workshop where she will talk about theoretical introductions to character design, and you’ll learn the basic key concepts around it. Through an interactive session, participants will have the chance to design their own unique manga character using a creative wheel, putting theory into practice in a fun and engaging way!

Eden is a manga instructor and illustrator with years of experience in the field. She is passionate about manga and storytelling and has illustrated for various businesses. Eden was also the founder and first teacher of the Manga class at Hadeland Folkehøgskole.

Through her professional training under renowned manga artist Nao Yazawa, she has honed her skills and is dedicated to helping others embrace their creativity and discover their artistic voice.

Sign up for the Cosplay Competition is now live!!

Fill in the form and shine like a star on the stage! This year there will be 2 categories. First one is bought cosplay and the second one is handmade cosplay (where 80% should be handmade. Wigs and shoes do not need to be handmade)

But what if the cosplay is 50/50% or 30/70% bought or handmade and you still want to join? Then join the category that is the highest percentage of either bought or handmade. If you bought a cosplay and upgraded some parts yourself, then join the bought category.

There will be a professional stage where the lights shine on you. This is important to know, we do not judge the competition based on your performance. WHY? because we want both beginners and pros to join our competition. For some this might be the first time on a stage. But do we still want a performance? Yes please. You may also do a little swirl, show off your cosplay or perhaps you want to sing. It is up to you! Make sure you stay on the stage for at least a while so the judges and audience get to see you.

After the performances you will either stay for the judges to take a closer look at your costume or leave and wait for the winner announcements. If you choose to stay then please don’t leave the room (multisal/main stage 14).

The competition will be held on Saturday. Stay tuned for the announcement of our Cosplay Judges! ✨

Friday will be the casual cosplay catwalk where you can come to show off your costumes without any judges. You won't need to sign up for this catwalk, just show up 10 minutes before it starts so that we know who wants to join. This is just for fun and to show off your creativity! 🩵
