Norway Brazil 2-1. In November of 2025 we thought everything was possible when the Norwegian men’s national team returned from a clean qualifying round. Today they proved what we then believed: Norway can go all the way. It’s not about football anymore. It’s about overturning the world order in a good way and bringing our children along for the ride. Håland gave an interview after the game to that effect. It was kind of lost in the chaos, but he made a good point: Now we see what’s possible through practice and collaboration.

I want to give a not to Brazil for this match. It was incredibly exciting and very even. But more than anything I think it showed good sportsmanship between two national teams that respected on another and played fair.

And of course Ørjan Nyland has to receive the greatest honour this time. What a wild class goalie! Clubs should be lining up for him after this.
