Last week, our team at Elop joined forces with our sister company, Inspect Steel and Concrete, for an insightful workshop in Håverud, Sweden. 🌍✨

We explored ways to maximize the potential of the Insight scanner, integrating our 3D models to create even greater value for our customers. A key focus was the development of a rail solution for consistent measurements and improved image interpretation for the more inaccessible roof and vertical applications.

However, even when these problems arise, inspections before project handover can uncover hidden issues like cracks and air pockets that aren't visible on the surface but can compromise the integrity of structures such as bridges, tunnels, and wind turbine foundations.

Historically, inspecting the internal condition of concrete has been difficult due to the lack of effective methods. However, technological advancements are revolutionizing this process. The Elop Insight scanner, for example, provides continuous 3D images of the concrete's sub-surface condition, highlighting potential issues.
