I believe our modern obsession with external, superficial, and fleeting beauty is a misunderstanding of what beauty is about. The role of beauty in our lives is not to adorn the outside, but to support the inside. It is the language of the soul – a language that is not spoken with words, but with feelings and sensory impressions. To seek beauty in our surroundings, whether it is in the soft light that falls on a quiet morning, or the well-chosen color on a wall, is to seek a dialogue with our own inner world.

Autrumn equinox - when light and dark are in perfect balance and the veil between worlds are thinner, urging us to pause and listen to our soul’s whispers. I honored the day by making a portal from our garden into the woods. The portal symbolizes the opening between worlds. A transition – from the known to the unknown, from outer wandering to inner journey. When we pass through it,we cross the threshold into another space another presence. We are transformed. Today
