We invite you to read our latest article: A Dose of Survivor’s Guilt, Recurrent Frustration, and Moments of Overcoming. It features our newest artist-in-residence, Eddie Htet Aung Lwyn, a Burmese filmmaker and photographer.

Through Eddie’s heartfelt and honest reflection, we can learn more about their artistic journey and the ways they navigate the complex emotions of freedom, survivor’s guilt, and healing through art.

“Do I still feel survivor’s guilt? Yes, of course. But my motivation has shifted. Now, I want to create art as a celebration of being alive, of having survived, of being in community. I like to call it radical joy, because we all need it” - Eddie Htet Aung Lwyn
