Just not a fan of the trend of open elastic TQ pouches, but being a fan of the venerable T3 gear TQ wrap, I decided to make something similar for the CAT TQ.

Although not impenetrable to dust or water, it’s covered on all sides, reducing the most of it. On the inside there is a strip of loop that connects to the exposed hook on the windlass retention to keep it clean.

This pack is intended to replace the Norwegian issued AFR kit by (2 VLAKs on an XL battlebelt 🙄).

Externally you find 2 large front pockets for all your M and A needs, a large flat pocket on the backpanel for your hypothermia gear (which also works as padding 🧠). PALS on the front and sides for TQs, rescue hooks and similar items (allows up to 4 external TQs). Dual handles for briefcase carry between casualties. A 3x2” loop field for ID patches sits up top.

The front pockets and main compartment are all loop lined, so the user can configure the layout as they please. I’ve made some simple Velcro/elastic insets that are included (1x top, 3x of each other pictured).

Removable, lightly padded shoulder straps with a sternum strap, which also allows for integration into most armor carriers. No solution is included, but can be built on request.

Built with 330d Norwegian camo, YKK 8 zips and RG solution dyed webbing.
