We are proud and honored to see one of our designs on Aftenposten and DogA’s list of top 100 Norwegian designs, “Design I 100”, and to receive a nomination for the greatest Norwegian design of all time.

The Swix Triac cross country ski poles were one of the first designs Hugo Industridesign saw to market. It received the Red Dot Design Award and the Award for Design Excellence for its innovative construction and features, some of which have since become the industry standard. The Triac is still Swix’s flagship and in the hands of athletes it keeps winning World Cup Podiums, World Championships and Olympic medals.

There are truly many fantastic designs among the nominees, so check them out, vote for your favorite and join us in celebrating over a hundred years of Norwegian design history.

Congratulations to Leo, winning the product category at "Gullkalven 2016". But he was not done, Leo also brought home his second award for the evening, "Bransjeprisen 2016".

We can't wait to get this talented designer on board this summer!

It's official, after 3years development "Yme" and "Loke" are finally in production. ETA medio July 2016.

Hugo has developed a series of backpacks ergonomically engineered for the sport Disc Golf, Scandinavias fastes growing sport.

Leo Boe is only on his 4th year studying design at AHO, but he is already one of the biggest talents we have seen for years. We are very happy to have him on board this summer and we can't wait to work with him once he's too cool for school. Welcome to the Los Hugos familiy!
