Thank you for such a year. We are truly humbled by the support and love we have received.

2025 has been a year of learning and change — a year where we accepted our limitations and, in many ways, found ourselves again. It has been a test for all of us. We are stronger as people, and maybe weaker as a company, but clearer, more honest, and more human than before.

Maybe we have even been given the chance to return to who we were before we opened Bente.

As a team and as a community, we cannot wait to step into 2026 and meet you all again.

For us, 2026 is about space and time — where we will be open fewer days, have more time off, and, in return, have more to give. Space for ourselves, and space for the places we care for, including the little ones that are still growing. We no longer see ourselves as one single group, but as individual places, where friends and colleagues have their own lives, spaces, and sense of ownership.

Once again, a huge, huge thank you for 2025.

A little photo dump from Foss lately — where both Kim and Orsi are now owners and partners and none deserve that more, and the whole team is just vibing together. In the kitchen our newcomers Alisha and Sofia are settling in beautifully, and behind the bar Rebecca is the queen.

Next year is our next chapter: new adjustments, a new kitchen and a new bar — so Kim can unfold his drinks properly, and we can finally bake on location. ❤️

This year, we’ve invited the team behind .oslo Diner, opening in December, to host their very first — and most important — dinner party of the year.

We’re doing one full seating only, and it’s pre-booked.

We owe you all a massive thank you.
It’s a unique feeling to see how many of you keep showing up, day after day — supporting us, cheering for us, even when we are not the most traditional group.

We take risks. We follow our gut.
Sometimes it goes really well, other times… a bit less.
But no matter what, you are here — and that means everything.

This past year has been extremely demanding, not just for us, but for the entire industry.
Yet our collective has continued to grow. We are now seven partners working across our locations, and with new people come new ideas, new energy, and new dreams.

So — from Monday, we will close Frogner completely.
Not because we are unhappy with it. We love that space.
But because we want to build something new. Something more intentional. A culinary destination that challenges us — and hopefully gives something exciting back to the west side of town.

We are keeping the location.
But the team and the direction will be something entirely new — something we’ve wanted to create for a long time.

We will keep you posted.
