Da jeg ble kontaktet av Smaalenenes Avis for noen uker siden, måtte jeg tenke meg litt om. Men det å bruke stemmen min og tørre å utfordre litt er noe jeg håper kan være til inspirasjon for andre som kanskje også kjenner på noe av det samme❤️

(+) Silje har sagt opp lærerjobben for å følge barndomsdrømmen: – Jeg er trygg på valget – Dette handler om å ta den lille jenta i meg tilbake og innta hovedrollen i mitt eget liv, sier Silje Strand fra Spydeberg, som i høst sa opp lærerstillingen for å satse på musikken på heltid.

This is a deeply personal song that’s been with me for quite some time now. When I wrote this song, I found myself in an all-consuming darkness, but it was in the midst of this hopelessness that I discovered - or let’s say rediscovered, my true light✨

To me, this song is a bridge between the old and the new - moving from darkness to light, from pain to purpose and from where I’ve been to where I’m going✨

Yes, it’s one of my «darker» ones, but most of all it’s really all about HOPE, TRUST & HIGHER LOVE✨I hope it will touch you at your deepest core and lift your spirit at the same time💛
