For centuries, salmon has been part of everyday life in Norway. With cold, clean waters and deep fjords all along the coast, salmon became one of the country’s most important ingredients 🇳🇴🐟
One of the most classic ways Norwegians prepare it is gravlax, a method of curing salmon with salt, sugar and herbs that dates back hundreds of years. What started as a way to preserve fish eventually became one of the most iconic flavors of Scandinavian cuisine.
At Jarmann, we keep that tradition alive with our GRAVLAX & POACHED EGG: house-cured salmon served on sourdough, topped with a perfectly poached egg and creamy hollandaise 🤤
