Saikō! We’re very happy to announce that Trolls vs Vikings: Reborn now has a fully professional Japanese version on Steam.

This is the first Megapop game to launch with a pro-produced Japanese version. As big fans of their culture and games it marks a truly meaningful milestone for us.

For the Japanese release we partnered with Locatch, led by Harry Inaba, whose background includes work on titles such as Metal Gear Solid, Silent Hill, Castlevania and the Suikoden series. Our Norwegian Trolls and Vikings are in the best of hands. Beyond adapting it for Japan, Locatch is supporting marketing efforts in Japan as co-publisher.

This launch is part of a broader focus on Asian markets and stronger cultural localization across multiple Megapop projects, including Life Below (published in Japanese by Kasedo Games) on May 26th.

To celebrate this (to us) significant milestone Trolls vs Vikings: Reborn has a 30% sale, and on top of that is featured in the Norwegian Games Festival on Steam together with 170+ Norwegian titles.
