Petrad 8-weeks Programme 2018, 24 September - 16 November 2018, Stavanger, Norway
We are pleased to announce that Petrad is organizing the 8-weeks programmes, consisting of two courses, running in parallel with a large extent of common programme elements, but also a somewhat different focus:
• The “Petroleum Policy and Resource Management” course (short name: “Policy”) has a stronger focus on the licensing, exploration and extraction processes as well as issues related to the governance of the sector.
• The “Petroleum Development and Operations” course (short name: “Operation”) has a main focus on value chain activities in the development, operations and tail end stages of petroleum fields, including HSE, technology and project ex*****on, highlighting the importance of transferrable skills for dynamic adaptation to change.

The 8-weeks programme will take place in Stavanger, Norway, from the 24th September – 16th November 2018.

The course tuition fee is set at NOK 150,000 (one hundred and fifty thousand Norwegian kroner).
Not included in the fee is a return ticket to Stavanger, accommodation, and dinner allowances. Petrad will recommend a hotel with discount price for accommodation. The course fee will include lunch, coffee breaks, transportation from the recommended hotel to Petrad and return, and costs of various social activities.

Petrad does not provide scholarships for the 8-weeks programme. Applicants should seek for scholarships from their own organizations, national and international oil companies, embassies, donors, etc.

An invitation letter will be issued in April with an application deadline on 15 July 2018 (extended from 15 JJune 2018).
