Initiative for Business and Human Rights stands as a pioneering institution in Nepal established to promote human rights compliance in business activities. Throughout our journey since 2021, we have stayed firm to our goal of fostering advocacy and dialogue on the issues of Business and Human Rights in home and abroad.

We are committed to advocate for the rights ranging from right to employment, dignified life, health, safety, equal pay, and against sexual violence, slavery, poverty, hunger, torture, and what not? Our team sees 2023 as another great year to advance our effort and take our advocacy to new heights.

We would like to express our utmost gratitude to everyone who was a part of this journey either as contributors, critics or advisors. This month we present you a special edition of the magazine including the compilation of incidents of business-related human rights abuses that were highlighted by IBHR in the year 2022. We urge the Government to pay extra attention on these incidents and provide remedy to the victims.
