Do you miss your old Dashain? Long vacation, sky full of countless colorful kites, 'ping' everywhere in the distance of 5 minutes. Those were the days.
I miss the feel of thread on my hands, waiting for the perfect wind to set the kite soaring high up in the sky. I miss feeling scared to get on the ping with others because I used to feel dizzy.
Time has changed. Or did we? All I know is Dashain doesn't feel like the Dashain I used to know anymore.

Here's my first submission for the DU Challenge. What is DU challenge, you might ask. Well, its an ongoing weekly UI challenge to help the aspiring designers learn and grow from fellow senior designers' feedback in Slack. About this project:
'Like Minded' is an imaginary app and as a name suggests, it connects the users who have similar hobbies, similar taste in music, movie genre and so on -- basically, like-minded people. So I quickly came up with the logo and a color palette for this one.
Why no 'sign up with facebook/twitter'? It would have been awesome if when connected using a facebook/twitter account, this app can sort out the liked pages and come up with a list to help connect the 'like-minded' people but for this one, I wanted to give a fresh start and have users a separate data. Just me, bad business model, I guess. LOL.
