Founded in 2023, Women in Animation (WIA) Nepal is a non-profit organisation dedicated to advancing participation and leadership in the technology and creative industries especially women and gender minorities.

Through its ๐‘จ๐’๐’Š๐’Ž๐’‚๐’•๐’Š๐’๐’ ๐‘บ๐’„๐’‰๐’๐’๐’, WIA Nepal equips aspiring animation and visual effects (VFX) artists with industry-relevant training and skills. ๐‘ป๐’‰๐’† ๐‘จ๐’๐’Š๐’Ž๐’‚๐’•๐’Š๐’๐’ ๐‘บ๐’„๐’‰๐’๐’๐’ is a key component of Pathshala, an initiative under the ๐‘ผ๐‘ซ๐‘จ๐‘จ๐‘ต project supported by the European Union and led by Youth Innovation Lab in consortium with HPN, NAAMII, and WIA Nepal.
