Job Description:

SmartMobe is looking for fresh Engineering Graduates to join us as Trainee Software Engineers. You will be trained on various Digital Solutions to be able to contribute in the project deliveries for our international clients.

Responsibilities –
The Role for Fresh Engineering Graduates involves but not limited to the below -

* In addition to academic qualifications, we look for proactive problem solvers, motivated to learn and able to collaborate and exchange ideas and most importantly be a team player.

* Degree in Computer Science or related field
* Software development experience coding in a general-purpose programming language.
* Prior Intern experience as a developer.
* Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
* Effective communication skills in both verbal and written communication.
* Experience developing in at least one of the following languages (Java, Python, GoLang).
* Desire to work on a diverse team
* Ability to understand functional / non-functional requirements to systems requirements.
* Ability to write test cases and scenarios based on the specifications.
* Some understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies.
* Awareness of latest technologies and trends.
* Logical thinking and problem solving skills along with an ability to collaborate
* Ability to write well-maintained and readable code.

Relevant Exposure / Experience –
You should have the following -
* Good verbal communication skills must.
* Good analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong passion for software development, debugging and problem-solving
* Detail-oriented & able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Willing to learn new technologies and adapt quickly
* Good communications skills, able to collaborate and work with team members and customer
* Should have knowledge of Javascript, HTML, CSS
* Some knowledge on server-side languages such as Java, Python, NodeJ, php, Golang.
* Some knowledge in frontend-side languages such as angular, React.
* Familiarity with some database technology such as MySQL, and MongoDB, MSSQL
* Knowledge of code versioning tools GIT/Bitbucket.

- Sound Knowledge in Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
- Sound knowledge of current Internet technologies, Browsers, HTML5, CSS3, Mobile
Design trends and Web application interface design nuances
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies
- Proactiveness and enthusiastic nature
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

Job Description

- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
- Conceptualize original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex roadblocks
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and sitemaps to communicate interaction and design ideas
- Establish and promote Design guidelines, best practices and standards
Slicing materials for development
- Creating/editing photos for blog and social media posts
- Create designs of digital marketing materials

Job Description:
- Communicate with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Lead a small/medium size team
- Define application architecture, database architecture and maintain applications
- Develop highly scalable web applications and web-services (API) adhering to latest
software engineering practices
- Reporting to the Project Manager/Team Leader regarding the progress or any
impediments in assigned project/tasks
- Continuously improve technical skills and share knowledge about new tools and
technologies with the team ensuring the growth of the team.

Requirements:

- Excellent coding skill in Java and/or Python in the Linux environment
- 5+ years of relevant experience in building Web applications and Web Services in a
professional environment
- Strong object-oriented programming skills using Java
- Must have worked on Java Spring Framework - Spring Boot, Spring Core, Spring
MVC, etc., JPA, Swagger, Tomcat 8, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, GIT, Postman/Newman,
RESTful Services, Containers
- Must be able to work with reactive/asynchronous and functional programming in java
- Knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms
- Familiar with design patterns
- Thorough understanding of relational databases such as MySQL or similar database
technologies
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum software development cycle understanding
- Experience in test automation and test-driven development
- Experience with AWS/EC2 or other cloud services is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and being able to work independently or in a full team
