Jyotidaya Campaign!!!

It all started when we (Leo Club of KTM Bridgewater) got an opportunity to help Jyotidaya school to build a library for public welfare. It was divided into three phases. The first phase was to "Shoe polish campaign". The main theme of the campaign was to bring awareness that every work is equal if you do it with all your heart. No work is small and no work is big. So we all sat down to polish people’s shoe at various places such as civil mall and blue bird mall and collected donation. Our work was well appreciated by everyone and a good amount of money was collected from that. After the success of our first phase we went to our second phase which was “door to door campaign”. In this phase we went to door to door of people’s home to collect books. A fair amount of books were collected from this project. The student of Bridgewater were very helpful bringing as much books as they possibly could. As a whole both the projects were very successful. Later on from the money received from donation was used to buy furniture for the library. The books collected from various sources where properly utilized too. The inauguration of the library was done by the international founder of Jyotidaya.
For this i would to thank many individuals who have helped us in many ways for the completion of the project. First of all I would like to thank Mr. Ranjit Acharya for his ideas and co- ordination, Mr. Suraj Singn Thakuri( host of Call Kantipur) Lion L.P. Sharma Betwal and Leo Pradip Khatiwada(President of Leo Club of KTM Bridgewater). I would also like to thank the program coordinators Leo Sandip Subedi, Leo Manish Kadel and Leo Aashish Betwal.
