Rekha Kumari Mandal, a dedicated farmer from the project implemented in partnership with Mennonite Central Committee - MCC in Jahada Rural Municipality of Morang district.

Rekha is changing her community through the sustainable vegetable farming and agricultural practices using the vermin compost which she prepares using a locally innovated cemented pit known as "Nadh." What makes this approach even more impactful is that the vermi-compost produced in the "Nadh" is directly applied to her vegetable fields producing the fresh vegetables year round.
