🌸 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 & 𝐃𝐑𝐌🌸

Successfully organized awareness campaigns in different communities of Rajdevi Municipality and Durga Bhagwati Rural Municipality to challenge harmful gender stereotypes and promote women’s leadership in Disaster Risk Management (DRM). The events created a strong platform for both men and women to openly discuss the unequal impacts of disasters on women, children, elderly people, and marginalized communities.

Through experience sharing by women leaders and CDMC members, participants reflected on social norms, women’s participation in decision-making, and the importance of inclusive community leadership.
