Team CIC Financial have stormed through the kayak section and quickly through transition, just look at that determination on captain Luke Nuttall‘s face, they put some distance between themselves and chasing teams 29 & 19 however it looks like team 29 Virbac have reduced the gap from 45 to about 30mins in the last few hours. It’s a race for 12th place. A lot of work to do with a couple of checkpoints to go in this leg and a solid climb into the final transition, one mistake is enough to lose them their 12th place, let’s see how they go, they need to motor to beat the darkzone paddle, if not it’ll be a very interesting sprint to the end.
