Design, Dressmaking and Alterations

I have a Degree in Fashion and Design and have been running my home based business for over 18 years and provided my clients with high quality workmanship, attention to detail and ideas to create the best look with a perfect fit. I also work with many bridal stores throughout the lower North Island.

Through my design service, clients will expect a free consultation with me where I will go over design ideas, fabrics, colours, produce concept drawings and have a good chat to get to know you and what you like and don’t like. I design and make anything from wedding gowns, bridesmaids, to childrenswear. For wedding gowns I will make a toile (sample) of the gown and you will have around 2-3 fittings. All my wedding gowns have custom made garments bags to keep the gown in for transport and storage, as the bag breathes. Costs depend on design and difficulty but quoted for at consultation.

My alteration service is stress free and provides clients with quality alterations that cover basic hems to difficult design changes that you can trust. All my alterations are of the highest standard as I don’t take short cuts. Costs vary due to difficulty and how the garment is made, but all alterations are quoted at the time of fitting.
