The Rocking Horse Place/Palomino Rocking Horses

It was great to participate at the Awapuni Racecourse Equine Extravaganza last month. The horses and animals were loved by all, young and old. This was my fist show and have a few more booked in for this year.

Its all booked in, come and see me at Equifest 2025 on 17 - 19 Oct at the Fiber Fresh National Equestrian Centre, Taupo. I will have some Rocking Horses and possibly Rocking Wild animals for sale plus some for display purposes to highlight the extension options available when building one from scratch. Recently renovated 1920 Vintage Ayres Rocking Horse for a client who were delighted with the result. Horse was stripped of old paint (not original), layers of Gesso added, new paint, new saddle, bridle, tail, mane, eyes are original. The swing stand was damaged and this was repaired and made stronger than when it was originally made, re stained, and also treated for Borer helping to retain the original timber. Pretty pleased with the result. The Rocking Horse Place is all booked in to attend this years premier Equine event at Taupo, New Zealand on the 17 -19th October. Orders can be taken and picked up at the event or come along to see the display and discuss your Rocking Horse requirements and check out the rocking Wild animals.
