We’ll be honest.

When we first started talking about freshly roasting 100% Robusta, we were told it was a mistake.

“Robusta is cheap.”
“People only want Arabica.”
and our personal fav.. "Just why?"

But we grew up with Vietnamese coffee. Strong. Bold. Unapologetic. And we knew there was more to the story.

The truth is, quality isn’t about the bean type. It’s about how it’s grown, picked and roasted.

We work direct with small scale Vietnamese farms that only produce high-grade Vietnamese Robusta, and we then roast it fresh here in NZ to bring out what we love about it:

Bold body. Smooth chocolate notes. Naturally double the caffeine.

Not bending to the 100% Arabica narrative. Not trendy. Not watered down. Just coffee done properly.
