The entranceway – often a “dump all forgotten zone”. But it can be the hidden gem of your home, making you smile every time you walk in. With a little thought about what this space has to DO, and how you want to FEEL when you arrive home, it can be fairly easily transformed.

DO … maybe a place for your keys, face masks, outdoor blankets or shoes?

And FEEL… for me that’s organized and peaceful. So once the practical stuff has been identified, I’m all about gorgeously scented candles, flowers, a couple of crazy family photos, a travel memorabilia and maybe a mirror to reflect the light & bring the outside in.

So, make it practical. Make it beautiful. Make it one of your happy places.
