A voice that you knew in an instant
A talent so rich and so raw
And now she has gone, so sadly too soon
Another we loved's closed the door.

Her absence will cause so much sorrow
It's A Heartache that she's had to leave
But she won't be forgotten, her voice will live on
Though her loss will see so many grieve.

She came into this world in Glamorgan
And from that quite ordinary start
We all grew to love her and now that she's left
It's A Total Eclipse of the Heart.

A Good Life
By Jan Beaumont ©️

Another loved woman has left us
Someone who gave us such pleasure
Whether Margo or Audrey we loved her to bits
Some would call her a national treasure.

In The Good Life she played snobby Margo
To The Manor Born Audrey was better
Although both parts were wonderful, Audrey fforbes-H
Was nicer than Margo Leadbetter!

She'll be remembered with fondness
For we all knew how much she was worth
So goodbye dear Penelope, go with our love
We're so sad that you've now left this earth. 😞

Rest in Peace, Penelope.
