We checked it over and dried out the compressor insulation, tested all components before firing it up. We also fitted the wall brackets to raise the unit up off the ground in case of another flood. Super busy week for Dynamic air solutions this week. Aside from the usual water leaks and service calls, we had an interesting job where a 16kw ducted system had stopped performing.
We got had the initial call on Wednesday afternoon and fitted the customer in on Thursday as they needed this system running asap.

Once we got there after a few checks it became evident that the system was low on refrigerant and had a leak somewhere in the system. We then pumped down the unit and pressure tested the indoor and connecting pipework to 500psi. We then went around with big blue and quickly located the leak. This was repaired the same day as we will have to wait for an indoor coil to arrive as the system is 6 years old. After a few other tweaks to optimise the air distribution we had a very comfortable and happy customer!!!

This just shows the importance of keeping your system maintainable to avoid costly repairs!
