The electromagnetic pulses stimulate your muscles to contract, much like they would do if you were exercising them. In the case of your pelvic floor muscles, the electro-magnetic pulses stimulate your pelvic floors to contract in a similar way to if you were doing a kegel exercise – except there are many more contractions which are stronger and faster.
