I’ve heard other quotes similar to this and they pretty much resound the same message… dance, be free, stop constantly thinking about what the ‘others’ might think.

Leave your worries at the door and walk with your head held high, even when people tell you to stop looking above the clouds.

So cool, so challenging!

Rest is just as important as work.

How are you switching off after after an end to a long week?

Do you know how to rest, or refuel?

How much time are you spending on social media or technology while ‘resting’.

As a sahm, mumpreneur or someone with a side hustle it can be hard to find a balance of rest and work. How to switch off when the business is constantly calling you. And kids... when is it possible to have a break?

I have had to implement times into my week where I get a chance to switch off and gain back the energy and see my business with a fresh perspective. I realised the importance of it, thankfully early on and noticed the difference in my work ethic and how much I was getting done when I have made time for rest.

Thankfully I have a great role model, as you can see in my pic 😻

I’m not going to lie,

This has been me on a few occasions... and on several other occasions I have almost missed out.

Do you know them intimately or do you just know them from a distance. I think you will find, if you ask them, that it wasn’t always abundance and fun. It is also not too hard to make your life look like roses and constant vacations. We can wear many masks when we need to. 🎭

There are always road blocks along the path of life. Especially when running or starting a business.

There is a season for everything though.

There is time for work.
