This is my brave and beautiful dental colleague and dearest friend, Ziggy. Always with a big smile on her face since our uni days at dental school in Otago. Her positivity and strength through out her journey with breast cancer has been nothing less than that of Wonder Woman…😘

Ziggy's whole world stopped when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She was running a busy dental practice and bringing up two children with her husband. Treatment started straight away, chemotherapy and a mastectomy, and she called the BCFNZ nurses for help.
"They were wonderful" she said "if it wasn't for their incredible support I don't know where I would be today".

During this COVID 19 crisis we want to make sure women who are already isolated don't have to go through breast cancer alone.
