Position Overview

Drive a van to deliver boxes in a timely, efficient and safe manner.

Van drivers earn $22-24/hour

25-35 delivery drops per run to BP and Z service stations. Drivers unload boxes by hand and deliver boxes inside the stores using a handcart.

These are afternoon shifts - approx. 1pm to 8-10pm

Our shifts require fit and energetic drivers.

The Job
* Look after your vehicle
* Drive your vehicle following the route guide provided
* Make the delivery to the site
* Use the tablet provided to capture delivery information
* Be fast, efficient and safe

Essential Employee Characteristics
* Valid full NZ Drivers license
* Forklift licence would be helpful
* Clean and tidy appearance
* Very reliable
* Follows instructions
* Physically fit

It’s great news that our country has navigated through COVID19 pretty darn well, all things considered. This has allowed much of the workforce to commence again at Alert Level 3. Well done kiwi’s!

We cannot thank you enough for the support you have kindly given our temporary home delivery service during the Alert Level 4. It was wonderful that we could help people unable or reluctant to visit their supermarkets by delivering direct to your homes. We hope you enjoyed all our fresh fruit and produce and the other essential products we thought would be useful during lockdown. If you had a weekly recurring delivery with us, this has now been cancelled.

With the move back to Alert Level 3 on Tuesday our fleet must now return to servicing our long term commercial customers. Unfortunately we don’t have the capacity to provide both residential and commercial service, although due to such strong home delivery demand we may look to increase capacity.

So for now its thanks so much for your custom and we hope to have capacity to provide a long term home delivery service in the near future!
