The old girl does it again, 1 st round of Roll Racing NZ didn’t disappoint with an amazing turnout of cars at Meremere Dragway and lots of very very fast and tough street cars which was awesome to see.

Took out 2WD Turbo class in our beloved family heirloom wagon didn’t miss a beat all day 😎

Check out Racecars Universe YouTube channel link below for some great footage of the event.

Josh’s Series 1 RX7 on the dyno today.

All self built by him running a nice little purrer street port FC engine with a 62mm Borgwarner S300sxe turbo, 3” exhaust, ign-1 coils.

Controlled by a Link G4+ Atom ECU on BP95 fuel made a solid 353hp on 13psi 😎

Daniel’s FD almost ready for dyno

Simple single turbo conversion we’ve just finished off with a Garrett G40 turbo, Turbosmart goodies throughout, custom V mount intercooler and Koyorad radiator setup with spal fans, custom AST tank, Link G4X plug n play ECU, Walbro intank fuel pump and Bosch injectors topped off with a custom stainless exhaust system with a Custom Pro M**f rear muffler 😎

Still running factory block with unknown history so will only have about 10psi of boost for now until a new engine is on the cards.

Ethan’s FC on the dyno, came in for a dyno a wee while back but we found quite a few things that needed some urgent issues particularly overheating issues as the car had sat for 10 years.

Radiator out and flushed amongst a host of other little niggly bits here and there, but all up and running now with a safe tune for Ethan to enjoy and a little to do list for him to sort out a few more tidy up bits when he’s back in NZ.

Zero history on engine but basically a standard FC engine and turbo combination on Mobil 98 fuel controlled via an old Microtech EFi LT10s ECU made a healthy 250hp on 9psi 😎

Min’s RX7 on the dyno today.

We just replaced the gearbox on the car and noticed a lot of heat and some weird dis colouration on the exhaust system and back of turbo.

So on the dyno it goes for a full retune and is now running a lot smoother and most important all temps down including both air and water temps which were in high 90s for water and high 60s for air temp 🔥

Full wipe of ECU and a whole restart of everything now it’s sitting at low 20 degree intake temps and comfortably sitting at 82 degrees water temp and you can now open the bonnet without burning yourself 😁

Extend port engine unknown mods to it with a borgwarner S300sxe 61mm turbo on BP98 fuel made a solid 330hp on 10psi controlled via a Link G4X plug n play ECU 😎
