A MASSIVE CONGRATULATIONS to our boss lady👏

For the past year and a bit Alyce has been studying real estate.
And now our real life Wonder Woman has her wings and is a full time real estate agent for Ray White Takanini (Team Cathy Mei)

It is a bittersweet moment for us because for the past 13 years she has been the backbone of our business and the reason why we’ve been able to stay open for so long through it all.
From booking your appointments, getting clients over the line, managing our team and making sure our shop ran as smooth as it should.
She’s a proud recipient of BUSINESS OF THE YEAR award in our local town, Ōtāhuhu

We opened the shop up together many moons ago with a goal to provide a safe space for our clients not just to get their tattoos but a place to have a laugh, offload, build confidence but more importantly trust us to bring their ideas to life and Alyce can be proud she played a main role in accomplishing that

Whether it be in person, phone calls, emails or messages Alyce built trust with our clientele before even meeting the artist because of her easy to get along nature, personality and her infectious presence.
She’ll be missed by a lot of our regulars as she was always the first smile to greet them at the door and a face of comfort entering the house of torture 😂

She was more than just a front of house, she is the better conversationalist most of the time, she can yarn this one 😂
She helped a lot of nervous first time and not, clients settle in the chair before a session.
She offered comfort, advice, care and the odd cup of tea and biscuit to go with her conversations.
I always thought people returned for more tattoos because I’m funny and being the actual artist🤷‍♂️ turns out it wasn’t the case, it was all her 😂

But that didn’t mean it was all rainbows and unicorns, no siree
There were occasions where she had to be tough and firm when it needed but in a fair respectful way when handling situations that we all know come with customer service. Professionalism, resilience, patience and understanding.

This isn’t goodbye from her as she’s still my boss nevertheless and she’ll be in our corner ready like the super woman she is to save the day whenever we need her. She’ll definitely be here to kick me up the backside when I need it.
If you’re lucky you might get the odd reply or shop visit from her if she’s free but for most of our comms moving forward you’ll be getting me (unlucky uce)

Alyce, We are so proud of all you’ve achieved thus far and we know you will kill it in whatever you touch. Thank you so much for all you’ve done for our shop and our clients, your work ethic speaks volumes and I’m sure there are a few people that’ll back me up on that.

As your husband I couldn’t have asked for a better person to have as my wife and walk this journey with, as your business partner I was always the student and you, my teacher.
I’ve learnt so much off you over the years and I only hope to be as great as you and implement all those attributes moving forward with our business.
Your growth as a person inspires me to be better and do more, not just enough.

Thank you for the absolute best and unforgettable memories we’ve all made together through the shop, miss you every second you’re not by my side.
