The newly built houses are well insulated and designed to minimize energy loss for better heating. However, this design has created limited air movement, making them airtight and likely causing stale air in some rooms. Modern attic spaces also feature new roof designs that further restrict air movement, which also crate stale air in attics space.

Thus, the problem of limited air movement in well-insulated and airtight modern homes and attics can lead to stale air, which may result in various issues such as poor indoor air quality, increased humidity, and potential Mold growth, which can create some heat issues for the home occupants. Here are some potential solutions and considerations to address this issue:

Ventilation Solutions
• Mechanical Ventilation Systems

Heat Recovery Ventilation (HRV) Systems: These systems extract stale air from inside the house and bring in fresh outdoor air, recovering heat from the outgoing air to preheat the incoming air.
