WELCOME TO FIND YOUR FIRST

OUR PURPOSE

FIND YOUR FIRST is a free-to-access sports club directory for both domestic and international sporting enthusiasts seeking to find their sports club here in New Zealand.

Our team plans to populate this platform with information regarding the hundreds, if not thousands, of sport and recreation associations, clubs, and community facilities located across New Zealand.

Furthermore, our long term goal once fully established is to launch ‘FUND YOUR FIRST’, which is a university alumni-inspired fundraising service targeting all those members who may have moved on, but will not have forgotten where they’re from.

ABOUT US

FIND YOUR FIRST was first created in 2017 during an international university competition held in Germany, in which a group of AUT University Students and a Professor managed to compile together a unique social media campaign. However, as time progressed the social media campaign was later transformed into a dedicated sports directory for New Zealand, known as ‘www.findyourfirst.com’.

The development of FIND YOUR FIRST is very much a part of the people that have developed it. This is because each member involved has contributed a glimpse into how difficult it is to find a sports club to play for, employment in New Zealand’s sports industry, and a way to contribute back to a particular sport that each are passionate about.

But now that’s all about to change…
