Growing More Than Gardens! 🌱

Our participants built some awesome garden beds from reclaimed timber and picked up plenty of new DIY skills along the way. Now they're ready to head home and start growing their own flowers, herbs, or veggies.

Calling all creative tamariki aged 10+! 🧵

Got a favourite hoodie, T shirt, jeans, or bag with a hole or tear? Bring it along to our school holiday Visible Mending and Embroidery workshop and learn how to turn it into something even cooler!

Teddy will teach tamariki how to use colourful stitching and embroidery to repair clothing in a fun, creative way. It's a fantastic skill to learn for life, helping clothes last longer while adding your own unique style.

Planters with Personality!

Another fun morning with Felicia at Te Atatū Peninsula Library!

Our makers built some fantastic planter boxes from reclaimed timber, ready to be filled with flowers, herbs, or veggies. It was great seeing everyone's creativity and confidence grow along the way.
