A women’s musical gathering where memory becomes celebration.
At the crossroads of musical documentary, art film and poetic essay, this film delves into the musical project of the same name, bringing together more than twenty female musicians of different generations and cultural backgrounds. Through intimate testimonies and music, the film explores maternal legacy and the heritage carried between women across generations. Kiwi and Canadian co-directors Parry-Canet and Pion offer a full immersion into intergenerational memory.
