Six Flights. One Interview. One Big Goal. 🇮🇹✈️

This week, six members of the Liquid Automation team flew from Auckland to Wellington for a day trip with a single purpose: attending interviews for their Italian work visas.

It might seem a little crazy to fly an entire team across the country for a 30-minute appointment, but when you’re preparing for major international projects, it’s all part of the journey.

The visas are a key step in enabling our team to work on some exciting projects in Europe over the coming months. It’s a reminder that behind every successful project is a huge amount of planning, commitment, and sometimes a very early flight.

Next stop: Italy. 🇮🇹🍕⚙️

We have delivered a fully integrated smart home for Liquid Automation, combining audio, video, network, security, and electrical systems into a seamless Crestron-controlled experience (powered by Liquid’s in-house programming, commissioning, and project management).

Audio distribution is available throughout the home, including the kitchen, media room, bedrooms, barn and gym. Sources include Internet Radio, Spotify, AirPlay and any device capable of playing audio.

Video distribution is optimised for accessibility. Sky TV, Apple TV, CCTV viewing and gaming inputs are available where needed, without the clutter.

Robust connectivity is provided by strategically placed wireless network points to ensure consistent performance throughout the home.

Security is fully integrated, with ICT utilising motion detectors, thermal and smoke detection and heavy-duty roller door reed switches all controlled from a single interface for simple management and peace of mind. CCTV coverage and installation have also been included.

It’s the little things that really matter. The early starts, the late finishes, the quick thinking when things don’t go as planned, the extra effort to make the result even better, the way the team supports each other and the pride everyone feels in doing things right. That’s what makes this team special and keeps Liquid moving forward.
