FIRN is officially 9 years old! 🎉

To celebrate almost a decade of navigating the ever-evolving world of data and AI, the entire FIRN team decided it was time to unplug the servers, step away from the dashboards, and disconnect from the noise.

Last week, we spent two incredible days away to celebrate this milestone together.

Day 1 was all about reconnecting as a human network with some brilliant team-building activities (and a lot of laughs along the way!), stepping right out of the daily grind and into the stunning native bush of the Waitākere Forest.

Day 2 shifted gears with a genuinely eye-opening workshop led by Mind Bright on 'the secrets of sustainable high-performance.' Alongside the fantastic insights, it gave everyone a much-needed opportunity to relax, recharge, and enjoy some proper quality time together.

In an industry that moves at lightning speed, investing in our team's mental wellbeing and sustainable work habits is the ultimate foundation for success. After all, we can hardly deliver brilliant, scalable solutions to our clients if our own team’s batteries are running flat!

We owe a huge thank you to the team at Waitākere Resort & Spa, Todd from Corporate Challenge Events, and Kristy Von Minden from Mind Bright for helping make this retreat a brilliant success.
