My Journey – Alison Birtwistle
My career started studying business and working in the corporate world. I enjoyed my time in the corporate world, but soon realised the stress, long hours and being in the rat race was not my goal in life....there had to be more.
I opened my first clinic Chillout Face and Body Clinic in Albert Street and then Queen St, Auckland City. The roles had now reversed, I was now treating people in the corporate world who were over-worked and stressed. Chillout was a peaceful oasis in the middle of a busy city where people came to recharge, relax and de-stress. I also collaborated with a number of corporate business's in the city to provide corporate massage and do regular health and wellness events.
I sold Chillout ten years later to pursue my personal goals and to re-strategize my goals in the wellness world. I realised that the only true health was educating and working with completely chemical free products and natural solutions.
For the next seven years I worked alongside my friend, mentor and Reiki teacher Jocelyn Oades in Earth Spa, Ellerslie where we enjoyed creating a menu of holistic therapies and using completely organic, chemical free products. We held regular educational workshops and reiki classes for our clients and also educated other therapists in the industry on organic skin-care and treatments.
Six years ago we were introduced to doTERRA Certified Pure Tested Grade Essential Oils and I instantly rekindled my love of aromatherapy and the infinite possibilities and opportunities that these pure, potent, powerful oils and supplements possess and the benefits of better health and well-being they offer to everyone.
I am now dedicated to educating and empowering others how to live a healthy, holistic, non-toxic life.

"Sparky my choodle(Chinese creased powderfull/poodle dog who is almost 13 years old had started to cough up blood and had a big lump on his throat. I took him to see Ali on the Monday and she did a Zyto on him coming up with a blend of oils to put on his tummy and down his spine. I did also go to the vet on Wednesday who was not sure of what it was and took a sample. On Saturday when the vet called back with that it was just a cyst and it would go down in a few weeks. I was able to tell her that by using the oil blend the cyst was gone and Sparky was fine. Thanks Ali and essential oils."
