Beautiful ceremony on somewhat less beautiful day at Tomahawk Beach in Dunedin with special guest watching with respectful distance... thank you sea lion for waiting patiently!

Congratulations to Helén & Philipp! 🥳 🥂🍾⁠ ⁠ Reminiscing their magic day with a few behind the scenes clips & their sneak peek images from their collection. ⁠ ⁠ These two lovebirds tied the knot at Ocean View Beach a few days ago. The perfect beach ceremony complete with a NZ sea lion as a witness! 💗⁠ ⁠ It was a warm summer day with a few drops of rain to cool us off during the ceremony. We had fun climbing up and around the rocks for their photos and even splashed around in the ocean which was surprisingly warm. 🌊 ⁠ ⁠ This location was one of my old stomping grounds when I first moved here to Dunedin and will always hold a special place in my heart. I'm sure it will for these two now as well. 🥲 It was so much fun hanging out with you both and celebrating the love between you. 🥰⁠ ⁠ I hope you enjoy the rest of your travels here in Aotearoa and I am wishing you an amazing start of this new chapter of life together. Wedding season activated. We are well and truly in the thick of it folks. ♥️ The last couple of seasons I've had the opportunity to be a part of some really special elopements with my overseas couples. I mean, New Zealand is a really epic place to tie the knot! Am I right?!?! Loved this elopement adventure with Franzi & Toby last weekend here at Tomahawk beach. The amazing Anke of @significantmoments_nz delivered the goods with a gorgeous ceremony complete with a NZ sea lion dropping in as a witness. After the ceremony & celebrations, I took these lovebirds on a little tiki tour around the Otago Peninsula taking in our sweeping landscapes and capturing some sweet shots.
