🐾 Lou Lou – Looking for Her Perfect Forever Home 🐾

It is with heavy hearts that we are looking to rehome our beautiful girl, Lou Lou, a 2-year-old Border Collie cross. This decision has not been made lightly, and we simply want what is best for her.

Lou Lou came to us from the SPCA after being a failed farm dog, as she was much more interested in following scents than herding stock! We believe she may have some spaniel in her because she absolutely loves scent enrichment and using her nose.

❤️ About Lou Lou:
• 2 years old
• Border Collie cross
• Female
• Desexed and microchipped
• Crate trained
• Knows basic commands
• Friendly and affectionate
• Good with children
• Good with cats, although her energy can be a bit much for them at times
• Loves enrichment activities and being active

Lou Lou is a very loving dog with a big personality. She can be a little vocal and dramatic at times, which only adds to her charm!

She would thrive in a home that has the time and energy to continue her training, particularly with recall, and provide her with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation.

Things to know:
• She can be destructive if left unsupervised and loves to chew, so she currently only has durable silicone toys (such as Kongs).
• She has had some ongoing skin issues and is currently trialling a special diet recommended by the vet.
• Fatty foods, red meat, venison, smoked chews, and bones upset her stomach, so she does best sticking to her regular food and dog-safe produce.

We would love to be involved in finding the right home for Lou Lou, as our priority is ensuring she goes to a family that can give her the active and loving life she deserves.

🏡 Foster Home Needed Until Permanent Housing Is Found 🏡

These two lovely boys are looking for a safe foster home while their family secures housing. owner would like both dogs to stay together.

🐶 Roomba
Roomba is a 2-year-old Bearded Collie x Labrador. He is amazing with children and has a fun, energetic personality. He loves attention, playtime, and being around people, so he would suit an active home that can keep up with his energy.

🐶 Zeus
Zeus is a 10-year-old Staffy x Poodle cross. He is wonderful with kids and has previously lived peacefully with cats. Zeus is a sweet older boy who enjoys companionship and a calm, loving environment.

Both dogs are looking for caring people who can help them temporarily until permanent housing is found. If you may be able to help, please get in touch for more information.

Rusty is a 5-month-old Australian Kelpie cross living in Waihola Township. He’s a happy, energetic young boy who is full of life and loves being around people.

Rusty enjoys going for walks, spending time with children, and hanging out with his humans. He’s very social and also gets along well with other dogs.

Scooby is a loyal, loving 3-year-old Staffy Cross who forms strong bonds with his people. He absolutely adores his family—especially children—and shows it through endless affection, cuddles, and a wagging tail.
He’s looking for a home where he can be the centre of attention. Scooby is best suited as the only pet, though he may be okay with a calm female dog in the right setting. He enjoys having space to move and play, so a secure section and an active home are a must.
Scooby can be protective of his family and needs an experienced owner who understands his instincts and can provide confident handling. He is reactive to motorbikes and unfamiliar people on bikes, so he will need to be kept on a secure leash when out and about or safely contained at home.
With the right person or family, Scooby is an incredibly devoted companion who will give back so much love and loyalty.
