A bit of an update on our Women’s Ride Month🚲🦹‍♀️

You might have already suspected this but unfortunately, we wanted to let you know that our annual Women’s Ride Month won’t be taking place this October. After a busy and challenging few months closing our lifestyle store, we simply don’t have the capacity to host this awesome event this year.

We know many of you look forward to this event, and we’re truly sorry for any disappointment. We’re hopeful to bring it back next year when we’re able to plan with the energy and care it deserves.

However the Women’s Wednesday Rides are starting back up! The first ride will take place on 16th October. This is an awesome Women’s only MTB group ride that is set up by Women in our community.
For all the latest updates, details, and ride information, be sure to follow the Dunner Stunners on Facebook and Instagram - Dunners Stunners MTB - Community

What an amazing way to end the 2023 Womens Ride Month. ⭐️⚒

The dig day was the first time we’ve added this event to the month's activities and we are so glad we did. The upkeep of the trails are so important for not only riding but for walking and running too, so it was a great introduction to how to maintain the trails and help give a bit back.
There was some great progress made on tidying up the lower reaches of the Easy Down and turns out trail building isn’t that hard or scary!
If you enjoyed yourself or you couldn’t make it but want to help out with trail maintenance or building, get in touch with the team at Mountain Biking Otago or head along to ‘Sigs Digs’ who meet every Tuesday evening on Signal Hill - check out their Facebook group.
Thanks a million to Rob, Glen and Jason for showing us the ropes.
And not forgetting Nat for organising and Jenny, Jemma, Mel from the Dunners Stunners MTB - Community group for rounding the troops and setting the vibe.
Also not forgetting Andrew for being BBQ king!
