So true! That’s why we believe in “old fashioned teaching”. Our students are taught to read- to highlight key words, to explain answers properly and fully and to read for meaning- as well as hopefully enjoyment.

As the week draws to a close, our students are reveling in a unique experience. They typically receive individualised instruction with tailored programmes and specialised teaching. Nonetheless, every now and then we like to provide opportunities for students from different schools and of various ages and abilities to interact, showcasing their ability to respect and communicate effectively.
After all - we foster a safe “family” environment.

In picture 1, they are engaged in a word building game, a consistent favourite.
Playing games help students learn and practice skills such as losing!, turn taking and focus.

Picture 2 depicts them participating in a mystery challenge, successfully identifying the thief through deductive reasoning.
