Not every job comes with an office - sometimes you build one on the spot.
For certain jobs, it makes sense to process data and review results immediately on-site rather than heading back to the office. It allows us to verify, adjust, and keep the workflow moving without delays.
A simple field setup like this can save hours on a project.
Efficiency matters.

Floor Slab Level Verification - QA in Action
Currently on site carrying out a detailed slab level verification survey as part of the project QA requirements.
For this scope, the client specified a grid-based verification approach. Weโre walking a predefined, approved grid across the slab, capturing high-density level data to assess surface performance and identify any localised variation.
The data is processed into a heat map plan, clearly showing level fluctuations across the slab and allowing the project team to quickly assess compliance against tolerances.
There are a number of ways to approach slab verification - from digital level runs to floor flatness scanning systems. The methodology ultimately comes down to project requirements, tolerances, and budget. For this project, a grid-based survey provided the right balance of accuracy, coverage, and efficiency.
Every project is different, and our approach is always aligned with the clientโs specification to ensure the right level of detail for the job.
Good to be involved in a project where quality assurance is taken seriously and decisions are backed by accurate, site-captured data.

Early start in the field setting out a new kiwifruit orchard layout.
This project was completed from start to finish by our team, beginning with a drone survey of the site to capture accurate terrain data. From there we produced the orchard layout design and returned to site to set out the rows and key reference points ready for development.
To keep things moving efficiently, we deployed two surveyors working simultaneously, allowing the layout to be completed quickly while ensuring the precision required for orchard establishment.
A great example of how combining drone technology, design, and field surveying helps streamline projects and keep clients on schedule.
