We’ve just kicked off a new project with RX Plastics with the installation of new machinery in their Horotiu factory.

Our team will be tackling the design and installation of:

⚡ New Sub DB

⚡ MSB sizing cables

⚡ Cable Trays

⚡ Ducts to carry cables

⚡ Factory equipment

We expect to have it completed over the next 3 months, stay tuned to see the results!

Farmed in Gippsland for three generations, G&K O'Connor produces some of Australia’s best grass-fed beef.

Last year, Rendertech partnered with Hennessy to upgrade the industrial control and SCADA system, and to commission new machinery at G&K O’Connor’s rendering plant.

Pioneering a world-first in automation, we implemented FACTORYTalk OPTIX as a SCADA platform in Rockwell - one of the first companies in the world to do so.

Our team was thrilled to help improve efficiency and operations for G&K O’Connor, while using our knowledge and skills to help shape the development of Rockwell’s platforms.

WELCOME CAMERON!

Cameron recently joined the Hennessy team as our new Electrical Engineering Manager 👨🛠

Cameron is a senior electrical & automation engineer with a passion for UX, machine safety, communications and modular design.

Cameron brings a wealth of experience in technical directing, leadership, and project management and we’re stoked to have him - and his extensive skillset - on the team!

We recently completed the Altus OMAV extrusion line installation - and this project certainly had it all! From a rapidly changing timeframe, to international suppliers, equipment delays, multiple on-site contractors, and sourcing materials at short notice.

We believe in channeling energy into finding solutions, and for this project that meant deploying staff and resources at critical and often tight lead times, and staying flexible and using foresight to ensure the equipment was fit-for-purpose.

Taking an experienced and agile approach, our team worked alongside the mechanical installers and key providers to plan, design with future needs in mind, and execute the build of the 20MN press to an ambitious schedule, with limited downtime for Altus’s extrusion line.
