I’M BACK IN CLINIC!

Over the past two weeks I had the privilege of travelling to Japan to teach at the Advanced Clinical Education (ACE) Retreat, sharing advanced manual therapy techniques with healthcare practitioners from around the world.

One of the things I love most about teaching is that it also pushes me to keep learning. Being surrounded by passionate clinicians, exchanging ideas, refining techniques, and discussing the latest approaches to treatment ultimately benefits the people who matter most — my clients.

Whether you’re dealing with pain, injury, movement restrictions, sporting performance issues, or simply want to move and feel better, my commitment has always been the same:

✔ Continue learning
✔ Continue improving
✔ Continue delivering the highest standard of care possible

I’m grateful for the opportunity to represent New Zealand on an international stage and equally grateful to return home and bring that knowledge straight back into the clinic.

Thank you to everyone who continues to trust me with their care.

Appointments are now available and I look forward to helping you achieve your goals.

Train smarter.
Move better.
Feel better.

We’re not saying Carey has been doing Advanced Manual Therapy for a long time… but we found a few of his original client photos and now we’re questioning his age, that’s for sure 🦖🦣

After 25+ years in the industry, there’s not much he hasn’t worked on.

Advanced Manual Therapy = Prehistoric pain management.

SHOCKWAVE THERAPY — WHAT IS IT?

Shockwave therapy is designed to help “reignite healing” in tissues that have become overloaded, irritated, restricted, or slow to recover.

Using the Chattanooga Intelect® RPW system, radial pressure waves are delivered into targeted tissues to help stimulate circulation, improve healing response, reduce pain, and restore movement.

This treatment is commonly used for:
✔ Tendinopathies
✔ Plantar fasciitis
✔ Scar tissue & adhesions
✔ Muscle strains & overload
✔ Chronic soft tissue restriction
✔ Shin splints
✔ SI joint & lower back pain
✔ Calcific tendinopathy

For athletes and active people, shockwave therapy can help improve tissue resilience, movement quality, and recovery — without invasive procedures or significant downtime.

At MassageRx, shockwave therapy is integrated alongside:
• Advanced Manual Therapy
• Dry Needling
• Rehabilitation
• High Intensity Laser Therapy

Because the best outcomes often come from combining the right treatments at the right time.

One of the smaller number of clinics in New Zealand using advanced shockwave technology.

Reignites healing. Builds resilience.

Treating you smarter so you perform better.

HIGH INTENSITY LASER THERAPY

Not all “light therapy” is the same.

There’s a big difference between:
• Red light therapy
• Near infrared light therapy
• And true Class IV laser therapy

Red light and near infrared devices are commonly used in wellness and recovery settings and can provide beneficial effects at a more superficial level.

Class IV laser therapy operates at a far higher power output and tissue pe*******on depth, designed to deliver therapeutic energy deeper into muscles, tendons, fascia, joints, and other soft tissues.

At MassageRx, we use the LightForce XPi — one of the relatively small number of true Class IV therapeutic lasers available in New Zealand.

For athletes and active people, this may help:
✔ Reduce pain and inflammation
✔ Accelerate tissue healing
✔ Improve recovery between training sessions
✔ Support tendon and soft tissue rehabilitation
✔ Improve movement and performance
✔ Deliver non-invasive treatment with no downtime

This isn’t a wellness gadget.
It’s advanced therapeutic technology integrated into targeted treatment plans alongside manual therapy, dry needling, rehabilitation, and shockwave therapy.

Precision energy. Faster recovery.

Treating you smarter so you perform better.
