Tucked away on a rural Waikato farm site, this efficient three bedroom home turns it back to its rural neighbours and focuses the view across a natural gully. West facing screens protecting the interior environment from over heating during the hotter months.

White or Black?

This is for an office refurbishment, the white option was a bit too fruity for the clients so we developed a darker option which they loved!

Which one floats your boat?

The House of The Long Dog - A Coromandel Church Conversion.

This residence is a former Methodist Church in Coromandel town, now reborn as a 3 bedroom home away from the city.

With careful consideration for its NZ Historic Places Category 2 status, the design maintained original internal linings and respected existing window placements. By offsetting the rooms from the south/western wall, a hallway was created to highlight the impressive 4.8m high ceilings and beautiful windows as you make your way to the main living area.

All the building work was done by the owners in their spare time! They have done an amazing job at executing the furnishings and finishes.

This is also for rent as a holiday home, be sure to follow along at

Coastal retreat - Pivoting screens shield from sun and wind. The soft “mist green” gable form bridges native bush and residential space. Jeeping it fun with green and burgundy accents inside & out ✌️

We turned down this project at first, feeling it was a bit too large for us to handle…... but our persistent client convinced us otherwise 🫣.

Our role involved master planning and design for a sprawling complex including an 18-hole golf course, driving range, clubhouse, fine dining, hotel, events, and wellness center.

The scoria red roofing is a nod to the site's history as an old farm with a cultural connection. Simple low pitched gable roof’s to keep the overall visual mass down with larger glazed pop ups to allow for natural light to enter space more centrally.

The end of this year has been a bit of a blur, which is good and bad haha. In November for our work do we were lucky enough to be the first ones to stay at - a recently converted heritage church in Coromandel Town that we were involved in - project photos to come.

While in the area we visited and did the bush train ride which is a must do experience! We also hunted out the “Piccolo” designed by , this was an inspirational driver behind our

A big thanks to our team for their dedication and hard work this year. Time rest up and recharge for 2026 ✌️
