As we head into summer it's important that all ducted heat pumps are serviced. We recommend that the intake filters are cleaned every 3 months or change of season, this is something you will be able to do.

We do recommend that you get the unit serviced before the unit is turned to heating for the winter and cooling for the summer as well.

When first running your ducted unit in cooling mode please carry out this operation:
• Switch to cooling mode and put the temperature on all zones to the lowest setting
• Run the unit on medium fan speed
• After 60 minutes of operation check the outside drain to see if it is draining water, this is a 25mm white pipe and will be located on the side of the building on a new build and/or on an existing installation, it's normally coming out by the outdoor unit through the trunking.

If the drain is not draining water, please turn the unit off and give us a call as the drain may be blocked or has been disconnected from the indoor unit. This may result in flooding within the ceiling if not rectified.
