It's great to see the new bridge is soon to open! It really looks like a beauty, both in terms of its form and its function, connecting and opening up the Peacocke area as part of Hamilton’s bright and growing future.
Don’t forget to take up the opportunity to walk the bridge on Saturday 31st August, before traffic is allowed onto it. It will be something you’ll remember for years to come...

It was great to see this story in the Waikato Times that revealed another key piece of enabling infrastructure is going online for the Peacocke area, which includes Amberfield.
A new 1.5 million litre wastewater tank is part of Hamilton’s new and biggest wastewater transfer station in Peacocke. It was officially opened on 25 March, blessed by mana whenua.
The first homes in the Peacocke catchment will be connected to the transfer station in May.

Great to see Hamilton City Council celebrate the final concrete pour for the new Waikato River bridge - which council rightly describes as a significant stage of construction. This progress is great news for Hamilton, for Amberfield, and for the whole Peacocke region!
