EEW Homebased Education

We're growing our Homebased service in Cambridge and we’re currently seeking wonderful, caring people who are interested in becoming Homebased Educators!

Come along to Absolute Coffee House on Thursday 15 April between 9.30am-11.30am, meet our visiting teachers and find out the benefits of becoming a Homebased Educator with Early Education Waikato - the coffee is on us!

Some of these benefits include:

• YOU can decide your hours, fee rates etc.
• Easy to use online systems, and we take care of the admin for you.
• We pay for our Educators to gain Early Childhood Education qualifications.
• Free children’s YMCA gym and special Richmond Street Homebased Hub and Playgroup.
• Receive ongoing support and guidance from qualified Visiting Teachers.
• Extensive toy and library and resources plus Christmas bonuses!

Congratulations Linda — awesome stuff!

Congratulations to our superstar head teacher at Galbraith Kindergarten, Linda Dowling, who graduates with a Master of Educational Leadership with First Class Honours in December.

A self-confessed perpetual studier, Linda has spent nearly every free moment over the past two years working towards her degree at the University of Waikato and her thesis, Democratic Leadership: A Local Story, was submitted for review in March.

She says undertaking her Masters has provided her a better angle on leadership, an understanding of her own leadership style, and ways to support growing leadership within the kindy and the wider organisation.

Congratulations Linda — you’re awesome — what a wonderful achievement!
